#13339, Out-of-plane Displacement and Deflection Angle Measurement of Road Bridge in Time Series Using Phase Analysis
The inspection of larger infrastructures such as road bridges requires an efficient method. In this study, a full-field optical method using phase analysis was proposed. An image of parallel laser lines with the same spacing is easily generated by installing a diffraction grating in front of the imaging lens of a camera. The out-of-plane displacement of road bridges can then be obtained from phase analysis of the parallel laser lines. Using the proposed method, out-of-plane displacement and deflection angle measurement of road bridge in time series were done. The experimental results showed that out-of-plane displacement and deflection angle was measured at a very high resolution.
